About Me

I am a Biomedical Scientist who loves to explore unexplored areas of science. I am passionate about engaging in research, particularly in soft materials engineering for Biomedical applications. I have extensive experience in organic and inorganic material synthesis, processing, characterization, and tailoring material properties for biomedical applications. I also have solid experience in cell culture techniques for 2D and 3D systems and performing various biological analyses.

I have done my BSc and master's (MSc) in Biotechnology from Bangladesh. Later, I received the prestigious MEXT Scholarship from Japan to complete my MEng degree in Materials Science (Nanotechnology specialization). In 2018, I started my PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Calgary, where my research mainly focused on developing thermoresponsive hydrogel carriers for stem cell delivery to osteoarthritis patients. After successfully finishing my PhD, I am currently exploring the potential of immunomodulatory polymer-based organ engineering approaches in transplant rejection treatment at the Kizhakkedathu Lab in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
